Versatile 0.18um BCD Process
with extended High-Voltage Drivers
Industry-compatible 180nm Bipolar-CMOS-DMOS (BCD) high voltage process allows implementation of dense logic, analog functions and high-voltage MOS as well as bipolar drivers on the same chip, enabling cost-effective solutions for smart-power, automotive and telecommunications applications, amongst other industrial uses.
Applications:
- High-density 0.18u, 1.8V logic devices with 5V analog, and HV devices enables cost-effective, reliable, single-chip implementation of complex sub-systems such as DSL and VDSL drivers, and smart power systems.
- Class D audio power amplifiers with low-level bipolar signal processing
- 42-volt automotive subsystems
- Inkjet, solenoid and motor drivers
- Other medium voltage Smart-Power applications
Key Features:
- 0.18um CMOS logic ( with isolated device options)
- Extended Voltage range LDMOS devices from 5V to 80V
- Aggressive Ron x Area product NDMOS for compact power switches
- Isolated bipolar devices for low-noise analog functions and power drivers.
- Up to 6 metal layers, including thick metal, allow compact designs and high current capability
- Wide variety of resistors, inter-layer capacitors and diodes available
- Zener and avalanche diodes for references and ESD protection
