first lit at sunset on november 15, 1872, using a 5-wick lard oil lamp,
the original lantern of the pigeon point light station tower, in celebration,
was illuminated using its modern 1000 watt bulb, installed in 1926,
annually for 2 hours at dusk on the saturday closest to november 15.
the foggy evening of november 17, 2007 was especially dramatic.
restoration and budgets have put the event on indefinite hiatus since 2009.

Paper sizes and print prices
4x6 inches, with an approximate image size of 2.25x4 inches, $10 initialed; $20 signed and numbered.
5x7 with an approximate image size of 3x4 inches, $20 initialed; $40 signed and numbered.
8.5x11 with an approximate image size of 6x8 inches, $40 initialed; $80 signed and numbered.
13x17 with an approximate image size of 10.5x14 inches, $60 initialed; $110 signed and numbered.

Image sizes vary, but are proportional with approximately 1.5 inch margins.
Initialed prints are on high quality archival photo and print papers using archival inks.
Signed and numbered prints are on acid free museum quality papers using archival inks.

Prints are unframed, unmounted, backed by rigid foam core board, protected by clear print sleeves, and all include hand signed certificates of authenticity. Your satisfaction with the print is guaranteed.

Taxes and shipping are additional. Shipping is generally about $15 to $20, less for smaller sizes.
