IT Product of the Year Award
NESA, the National Energy System of Denmark, has won the IT Product of the Year Award at the Annual International Power Technology Industry Show of 2005. Developed jointly with POWRtec, the Nesa Smart Read meter system is received overwhelming acclaim for its innovation in pushing the state of the art in metering technology to levels of functionality, accuracy and design to previously unattainable levels.
The unit is to be branded as the NESA Smart Read meter, and will jointly display the NESA and POWRtec logos and product numbers. NESA plans to replace all existing revenue meters in its system with the new Smart Read meters.
